Ah, Hines Drive. Perhaps the best actual cruise of the year.
Just the classics, 25 years and older vehicles.
No conjested up streets with daily drivers.
Not to say the road wasn’t packed and slow at times, as it was.
But, everywhere you looked, cool cars.
Sunday, August 25, 2024, in Dearborn, MI, a warm day with a bit of rain early on, but for the most part, was a beautiful day for a car cruise (with a huge long car show area alongside the multi-mile stretch).
We counted at least 40 Turbo Regals (mostly GN’s), meaning (almost) all the Buick peeps showed up for this one (well, the ones with running cars, lol)!
This has been the largest turnout of Turbo Buicks this year! What an awesome day!
Plenty of other GM G-body vehicles strutting their stuff as well.
The movie & TV cars were here (Batman, Speed Racer, Munster Coach, Blues Brothers, Smokey & The Bandit, etc., etc.), along with thousands of other sweet rides too.
