Padded roofs were on option when you ordered a new Buick Regal, especially on the “limited” models.
But definitely NOT an option on the Grand National shown below!
A targa top? Not so much an available option!
But this Grand National owner decided it was the thing to do on his G-body Regal.
The front half, over the seats, doesn’t actually look that bad (not sure if he has an actual top for it however!).
The cut from quarter window over the top though, well… I’d pass on that section…
