In 1982, Buick produced a Grand National, ala NASCAR style, based on the Regal model line.
Available in limited quantities and sporting a two tone paint job of charcoal gray & silver.
This slightly tattered 1982 Buick Grand National was for sale awhile back.
Nothing too bad that couldn’t be restored if you’re the adventurous type.
Sure, they don’t compare in quality, speed or the look of the later all-black versions, but this was where the “Turbo Regals” really began (even though this turbocharging technology started in 1978), at least as we know them to be from the 1984-1987 years.
