The annual Downriver Cruise (AKA Fort Street cruise) is happening today.
There’s also a car show during this event, held at Memorial Park in Lincoln Park (3240 Ferris Ave.).
So we hit up this one first before driving over to the main event.
We knew the show’s actual start time was set at 4PM, but figured there were be vehicles set up before that.
Our arrival at 3:30 was met with a corral of Mustangs (some club) up front, but a few other rides were parked in a side lot.
Which was cool for us, as even though there were only 7 or 8 cars parked within, 3 of them were Turbo Buicks!
3 Grand Nationals (2 + ours), and a Turbo T, all of the 1987 variety!
Not too often (at most car events) do you get 4 Buick Regals all in 1 spot, let alone all in a single row.
Seeing those cars and chatting with the owners was pretty much the excitement for this spot (but probably other cars came later after we left).

Come back to this site in a couple hours to view the pics from the actual Fort Street Cruise!
