Here’s a new version of a 2027 Hot Wheels Prototype diecast being sold, that contains a factory yellow card with it.
Previous die-cast factory test run piece vehicles like this were always just sold as loose cars (with no tags).
It’s using the same base setup, and number on chassis (GJR71), as the 2026 purple ’87 Buick Regal GNX diecast.
The Yellow Card included with THIS diecast states:
“Tampo Yellow Card, Reference Sample”

The ID code marking (for prototypes, which is usually on the roof of cars), is on the hood this time:
U35 0034.
(since the “#11” graphic is on the roof, they had to place the code elsewhere)
This specific ’87 Buick Regal GNX prototype is a light blue metallic color, with light green graphics, car #11, race car style sponsorship decals, and has orange/bronze colored wheels, with Goodyear Eagle white letter tires.

It was listed at $30.99, and this specific version sold for $80.99!
(samples like this usually sell for around the opening price as there’s generally only 1-2 bidders for these).

A day after the first prototype for this diecast (above) was made for sale, a second version then popped up.
Exact same car and graphics, but this one with 5 star wheels, in the same orange color.
Different code number on hood (V25 0027) – which has now moved into a “V” code, whereas the above car is a “U”.
Again, listed for the same starting price (and sold for $58).

Now, the next day, yet another variant was listed on ebay.
All the same except for different wheels (5 spoke chrome, chrome outer lip as well) with redline tires, and of course a new test sample number on the hood: V25 0050.
At this point, we can be sure that this is probably the actual final design for the car, except for final wheel selection.
(we anticipate these last few will most likely sell for around the opening price)

The next day, another version, new hood code: V25 0047, was listed
(we can’t see any difference between the above and this one, same rims/tires)
and all of these have the same date on them (7-16-26), meaning that multiple different wheel selections were all produced on the same day.
It seems like the seller is listing a new version every day.
(which I suppose is good if you’re into prototype collecting, or really want a sample of this particular car)
