In today’s earlier car show post we mentioned about the drawbacks of having multiple events on the same day to attend.
The advantage however, is that if the first place you go to isn’t to your liking (low turnout, bad atmosphere, etc.), with so many other relatively close spots, you can always head over there.
Or perhaps similar to “bar hopping,” you go “car show hopping,” just to check things out at the next venue.
(and if that one isn’t good either, just drive to the next)
We car hop a lot, since we prefer variety.
(unless it’s an actual large “cruise” type show, and then we’re pretty content staying in one spot)
So after hitting up the Louie’s Towne Grill car show, we headed over to THIS new automotive event we read about.
Held at the Big Boy in Clinton Township, Michigan, on Hall Rd (corner of Garfield), this venue runs a weekly cruise in gala every Wednesday.
The May 17, 2023, only had about a dozen vehicles perched in their parking lot.
We’re pretty sure this is a newer event being held here, so that might explain the low turnout, (or perhaps more cars came in later), but considering it’s on an easily accessible main road, once more exposure is given to this one, it’ll probably get more participants.
