The original (first time made ever) Hot Wheels Buick Grand National, released in 2007, in the only correct color of black, was part of the “2007 First Editions” series. But it also was in another series called “2007 New Models” as well. In the USA, the car came with the normal sized card packaging, but overseas, was released with a shorter length card.

There was a total of 4 different black 1:64 scale vehicles made:
1. 2007 First Edition (card) with the GN having open hole 5 spoke wheels.
2. 2007 New Models (card) with the GN having open hole 5 spoke wheels.
3. 2007 First Edition (card) with the GN having the basic 5 spoke wheels.
4. 2007 First Edition (short card) with the GN having the basic 5 spoke wheels (overseas version).
