Another one in the “lowriders” series, this purple 1987 Buick Regal T Type has a wild paint scheme along with t-tops.
[yes, we’re all probably aware that “t-type” is not the proper term for a 1987 Gbody Regal, but that’s what they always label them as, since it’s a mostly more recognizable name for the general public then the correct “Turbo T” known by Buick Regal fans]
[Just FYI, Maisto is the only diecast toy car maker to feature t-tops on a 1:64 scale version]
We first saw the brown Buick Regal T-Type of these cars when these “Maisto Design” vehicles came out in 2021.
It’s been a couple years and this is the first other color (than the brown one) that we’ve seen from this series (even though this diecast car IS dated from 2021, when the brown one was released).
With Maisto continually pumping these diecast cars out, we won’t be surprised when other colors start showing up (not that we’re complaining).
