On Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Pleasantrees (located at the old Gibraltar Trade Center in Mt. Clemens, MI), they held their car show.
This is a new car show that was put on a few times this year.
We decided to go check it out before the season is over.
About 75-80 hot rods of all types were on display.
Some GM Gbody (1 GN, several Olds Cutlasses, a couple Chevy Monte’s) as well as A-bodies were amongst the participants.

FUN FACTS: The Mount Clemens “Gibraltar Trade Center North” location opened in 1990, and closed on August 27th, 2017.
Previously, this was the Mount Clemens (1/4 mile oval) auto race track, which opened in 1951 and closed in 1985 (we remember going there several times for their demolition derby events and also watching the “king of the hill” [regular guys driving their daily drivers around the track with the quickest car winning] event on regular oval track racing nights).
Before that, the car race track was a horse racing track (opened in 1916)!
