Last year this event was called the “Almont Heritage Festival Car Show” and while part of it still is, there was an add on name to “Almont on the Avenue” as well.
The Saturday, September 21, 2024, car show, held right on Van Dyke (AKA: “M53” or “Main Street” as it’s called in the downtown area, where they blocked off the entire street again for the show), brought out a few hundred (we heard 400-450) classic vehicles and muscle cars that lined the street on both sides for about a mile long.
There were a few other car shows happening today, but we decided to come back to this one again since the participation is so large, and it’s a good time checking out all the awesome rides that show up here!
1 Grand National, 1 Buick T Type WH1, several other GM G-body cars, plus numerous other cool rides. Good times!

We attended the Gibraltar Pleasantrees car show earlier in the day, and then went to this yearly Almont auto event.
