Simple designed key chains were the norm in the 1970s (and back into the 1960s).
These circular shaped hunks of plastic were pretty cheaply made promo items for the Buick car dealers.
A round base with a snap-on type ring to hold the keys, along with the Buick auto dealers name printed in a block font.
Leather versions were also offered later on, usually with a round metal medallion attached that had assorted Buick logos, and/or an auto dealerships name on it.
