Here’s another Hot Wheels prototype 1:64 scale diecast car, that wasn’t selected as the final design mass production vehicle.
This one has nice chrome 5 star racing type wheels on it, with redline tires.
The ebay seller (who always sells these authentic prototype diecasts) gets them direct from the Mattel plant in Malaysia.
(this seller is also located in Malaysia, and has hundreds of different HW prototype cars for sale).
It’s indicated that this car was a factory test run, possibly for the 2024/2025 F&F series (which isn’t actually stated, but has the words “F&F” in the listing title), and has real rider tires on it.
From the 2 previous prototype cars like this, (which look the same, check out the front corner marker lights), HW was obviously testing out different rim versions, since the car body is the same.
[ the last 2 test runs for the GN: sample prototype and here sample test run ]
Marked on base:
T02
(the usual stamp of the letter “T” [“test”] seen on these test run cars, followed by a number – “02” – in this case meaning this was the second test car)
Stamped into base:
Made in Thailand (even though the plant is actually in Malaysia, lol)
Mattel

The starting bid for these prototype Gbody Regals always starts at $9.99 (+ 10.99 shipping), and they generally sell for at least $20 and go up to $100 or more sometimes, depending on quality, design, and how bad someone actually wants it!
