Rick Hunt (owner of the GNX XRAY), previous employee at the ASC plant in Livonia, MI (where they assembled the Buick GNX cars), is probably one of the foremost authorities (if not the only one) of the activities that occurred at ASC.
He often and openly shares tid bits, facts, and other informative details about the highly sought after 1987 G-body Regal.
(on Facebook, Youtube, and in person at Buick events)
He is truly a huge Buick aficionado, not only since he worked at ASC, and owns the XRAY car, but loves the overall experience of everything related to these cars and the people that surround them, plus is very willing to reveal his vast knowledge about them to anyone who asks.
He still resides in the area (Michigan), and attends many Buick events throughout the year (local gatherings, Ohio meetups, GS Nats, MCACN, etc) with his GNX XRAY car.
(it’s not just a show car, he actually drives, not trailers, this car!)
The latest and coolest thing that he announced about the GNX’s is one of the prototype rear end covers that was created.
