8 track tapes! What’s that, you say?
Well, you see, before the existence of cassette tapes…
oh wait, some of you might not know what those are…
so, you see, before cd’s were popular…
oh shoot, I guess I should start with MP3’s, huh?
mp3 > cd > cassette tape > 8 track tape > reel to reel tapes > vinyl album records.
Ok, good, now that you know the logical musical progression of things….
Buick had their own versions (produced by RCA) of the hit music songs of the days.
Created on 8 track tapes, which could be played in the comfort of your house on your home stereo system, or even in your car should you have had that option in your Buick vehicle.
These Buick 8 track tapes were created up until 1982!
(which I believe is when the cassette tapes started becoming the “it” thing)
