Earlier today we were at the Troy Traffic Jam, and after it ended we headed out to Clinton Townhip, MI, for the yearly Gratiot Cruise event.
This is one of the times (where only twice a year) that the local Michigan Turbo Buick guys actually hang out all together in one spot.
(the other day is for the “Woodward Wednesday” meetup)
It’s always nice to catch up with friends, check out what’s been done to everybody’s Gbody Regals since last year, and perhaps even see any new Turbo Regals (or new owners) that might be in attendance.
14 Turbo Buicks were displayed in the Autozone parking lot this time around.
(but some may have left before we arrived)
And of course, there were plenty of other GM G-body cars cruising down Gratiot Avenue throughout the day.
Looked to us like there was a lot of hot rodders cruising out there this year, as well as parked in assorted lots along Gratiot Avenue.
Thanks goes out to Bruce from Aggressive Auto for gathering the troops together.
And also AutoZone for allowing us to use the lot again.
