Cool Vintage Buick Logos Belt Buckles

A popular trend in the 1970s and 1980s was to have a cool looking belt buckle.
Generally a leather belt with some type of decorative buckle attached to them.
Sometimes there was a design on the actual belt, sometimes not.

These buckles were mounted on the belts usually through a loop on the backside, then secured by a couple rivets.
(see the first few pics for how this was done)

They don’t really make belts like this anymore!
(and newer belts don’t seem to last as long now, either!)

We saw these cool vintage Buick belt buckles with assorted designs on them.
The Buick hawk, Buick triple shield emblems, and old style Buick logos.

The square type buckles are about 2.5″.
The rectangular ones measure about 3.5 inches x 2.5 inches.
They are designed to fit 1.5″ – 1.75″ wide leather belts.
Usually made from brass or a metal base, which is sometimes silverplated.
The buckle designs may have enamel coloring, or embossed images on them.

What a neat addition to your wardrobe collection if you’re a big Buick fan!
We found these for $15-50 depending on style, condition, and rarity.

Here’s some examples we saw for sale online.
