Culver’s Restaurant in Lake Orion, Michigan, is almost always a cool car show to attend, with hundreds of awesome vehicles sprawled throughout their lot, assuming the weather is decent, which it was this September, 17, 2024.
We hit up this locale at least once or twice every year, since it’s generally never a disappointment in doing so (but there’s more cars earlier in the season than later on, like today).
Even though it’s 50 minutes (one-way) from our home base, it’s totally worth it since you’ll see plenty of eye candy in many forms here.
For a weekly Tuesday meetup, it’s simply amazing just how many automobiles flock to this particular spot (but good food & atmosphere will do that).
Along with Bakers (Milford), this place is one of the larger (cruise in) type gatherings that occur on a consistant basis.
There’s not too many “parking lot shows” that can bring in hundreds of hot rods like these places do.
[last year for 1 of these events here, we heard 600-800 cars showed up!]
This time around, we guesstimated about 175 vehicles.
Some GM Gbodies, Abodies, and other cool looking rides.
The Grand National in the first pic, the odometer read 03,052 miles!
It was a real nice clean vehicle, so maybe it was 3000 original miles, but who knows?
(and kudos to the owner if it is a low mile car, for actually driving it around!)
