Back in 1985, Buick produced a guide book (service manual) on how all the electronic instruments worked within the Buick Regal (Grand National, t-type) models.
This was a greatand useful item for the technicians and mechanics who repaired issues within these vehicles.
This manual provided detailed information and instructions for digital dash setups (digital clusters), fuel gauge, SES light (Service Engine Soon), temperature, cruise control, tachometer, and all the rest of the electronic instrumentation and components found on the dashboard.
We saw a couple of these how-to guides for sale on ebay for about $70.
Could be beneficial to add it to your Buick literature collection.
