More rarities!
Here’s a rare mint vintage approval sample of a 1984 Buick Grand National 1:64 scale car diecast made by Johnny Lightning in 1996.
Currently being auctioned on Ebay (4-7-21), the starting bid was 19.88, and it has 2 bids so far after 1 day of bidding.
I’m sure it will go higher than the current bid of 23.50!
I don’t ever remember seeing this specific vehicle being released into the market (as a “Special Promotion” like the seller claims, or elsewhat), but to be fair, I don’t know every single car that was ever made either, although I know about most of them.
The seller (hues_of_life) says about this particular diecast car:
– RARE MINT VINTAGE Pre-Production Prototype Approval Sample
– Reviewed for approval in 1996… released as a Special Promotion
– Guaranteed 100% authentic original
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Remember that JL “First Shots” are NOT exactly raw diecast like this one and the other raw prototypes I sell that I got straight from the factories in China.
First Shots all had a clear-coat varnish applied to the body…just like paint.
They’re not true “raw” Zamac like this one.
PROBABLY LESS THAN 5 EXIST ON THE PLANET!
A rare magnificent addition to your diecast collection!
.
So if you like it, go bid on it!
