Saturday October 9, marked their last event for the 2021 car show season over at Leons Restaurant (8787 Telegraph Rd), in Taylor, Michigan.
This was a new place for us to visit, and we’re glad we had the chance to attend their last auto event.
The show was put on by Downriver Soul Shakers Car Club, and somewhere just south of 150 automobiles were on display.
The Ford car brand was dominant here, with a bunch of Mustangs (in a variety of years) ruling the event.
A few G-bodied GM vehicles were present, with 1 single Buick (but not a Gbody) in the parking lot (a Reatta).
Plenty of older rods were hanging out, and it’s cool to see stuff we haven’t before.
An older big yellow 2-door Cadillac with a supercharged engine was pretty fun to look at!
We’re putting this one on our calendar for next year, since it was a pretty decent turnout (and hopefully there regular events draw a similar type crowd).
