The Turbo 6 symbol is forever synonymous with the 1978-1987 Buick Regals, like the internationally recognizable symbol for the ever popular black turbocharged wonders we call the Buick Grand National.
Molly created that emblem to be used on all these Gbody Regals, not just specifically the Grand National, but T-types, Limiteds, and all the other related brother cars.
It represents “6” as in 6 cylinder, but also a lower case letter “b” for Buick.
Not to mention the swirl of it illusions the motion of the turbocharger.
Lots of merchandise includes the Turbo 6 image, such as these sweet signs we show below.
Some pieces have this emblem embedded into the artwork in some manner, and some are the actual complete artwork, as in the 3D printed versions of the power 6 logo.
Since the Buick Grand Nationals are a way more popular vehicle than any other Buick Regal produced, they get most of the attention on products created, but let’s not forget the other Buick cars and logos that have been introduced into the various Buick signs.
You can see a stained glass sign with a vintage Buick logo, as well as a neat flag with T-Type moniker on it, and finally a big BUICK! lit display sign below.
