Unlike the 1:64 scale versions that have been produced in the last few years that are mostly mimicking real world paint and style versions of the Buick Regal and Grand National, earlier diecasts weren’t produced like this.
Back in the late 1990s and early 2000s, the Buick Regal diecast cars that were being created all had wild themes and paint schemes on them, and were usually based on some type of specific theme such as the cartoon Peanuts or WCW wrestling.
These cars were designed in a multi-color scheme, along with their matching vivid color boxed packaging.

Single cars were also made of some of these designs, as well the herein 5-pack sets:
Sting with a (WCW) World Championship Wrestling theme (black Regal).
Peanuts (a blue colored Regal).
Street Wheels Dynamite Die Cast 5 Pack (green car with bold yellow stripes), issue #30.
(there were others similar to these manufactured, too).
We saw these for sale for $20-30 each.
