Buick Performance Company Catalogs

Back in the late 80s and into most of the 90s, there were these tangible things called “catalogs.”

This of course, was before the internet age.

These catalogs allowed readers to browse the pages and see, in print, parts & accessories for the Buick Grand National & T-types.

Then, if you saw something you wanted to buy, you could either phone in an order & use a credit card to pay, or…
mail in a check or money order to the Buick vendor & hope that they’d ship you what you ordered.
(whaaaa? That’s right. Back in the day, you’d mail in money, and the company you ordered from would ship you your parts. And yes, most of the time it seemed like it took a REALLY long time for this process to be completed).

The online ordering system in place today has been a Godsend as far as getting parts for your Buick much quicker. Well, most of the time anyways…

Kenne Bell, Poston Enterprises, Bowling Green Customs, along with a slew of initialed companies like ATR, AVC, ANS, QEP, and others participated in doing business by physically shipping out printed Buick performance catalogs.

{coincidentally, almost ALL of these companies are no longer in business!}
