Eastpointe’s big day is here!
Michiganians gathered to cruise Gratiot Avenue for the annual Gratiot Cruise event held on Saturday, June 19, 2021.
For the last few years, for some reason, the participants at this event have been declining.
(there are a few other auto related shows going on this same day, but still…)
This year was no different.
Especially with gloomy weather and impending rain at any minute.
Despite weather conditions, there’s plenty more cars that show up here than if you went to a simple local restaurant / bar type cruise-in show, but the huge crowds that this event drew 5 and more years ago just isn’t here anymore.
It’s still a very worthwhile car cruise to attend however, we always enjoy seeing all the attendees.
Being relatively early yet in the car cruise / show season, and with things being almost 100% back to normal here in Michigan, (the official mandates, that is, but whether or not people really feel safe or not, is yet to be determined), there’s plenty of auto events that are occurring this year.
We’re pretty confident that this years car goings-on will be very satisfying. Hope to see you at some!
