The Buick Turbo Regal in question was the understated WE4 version.

The power bulge was the only clue this wasn’t your regular black Regal.

I was stopped at a light early in the morning when a Taurus SHO with that whiz-bang Yamaha 24v V6 pulled up next to me.

Having owned one in the past, I was well aware of its capabilities as well as the idea that the driver knew too.

Right before the light changed, one gray haired geezer glanced at the other with that look that all street racers know.

.
Well, I’m pretty sure the SHO driver was quite puzzled as all he saw was a row of red tail lights…
