It was an iffy kind of day weather wise to begin with (mostly ok, but a chance of rain scares most show goers away), so we debated about going to this twice a year only car show.
Held at Charlie’s Restaurant (29084 N Campbell Rd., in a strip mall Just North of 12 Mile, in Madison Heights, MI).
It’s been on our list to attend for awhile, as the goal this year is to hit up all of the car shows both the weekly car shows and the once a year types (car cruises and whatnot) that we haven’t been to previously.
We weren’t expecting much, as in general, these smaller type shows often draw a smaller crowd of participants.
But that’s ok, we get to check it off our list.
And, if it’s any good, we know to return the next time.
(we usually only visit a spot once or twice to determine if it’s a worthwhile event for us to go to again)
Today, we spotted a Gbody El Camino, along with an assorted variety of other hot rods.
22 cars in total when we arrived (around 6:15).
We figured it would be mostly the nearby locals who show up to this event.
