1984 Buick Regal Limited With Add-on Body Kit

Ocassionally we see some unusual Gbody Regals for sale.
This one was recently listed on Facebook Marketplace (and sold quickly, believe it or not!).

It looks like it has the (old school, from back in the day) Lauren Engineering body kit on it. This was a ground efects package that was created for the 1984-1987 Turbo Regals.

This particular Buick Regal also has some other odd add-ons (check out them fender vents, and the headlights from a totally different vehicle). Emblems from a newer Buick have been pasted on, as well as “Buick GS” badges.
Has older Regal tail lights, and custom wheels.
A one-piece front bumper/filler, and a rear unit to match is sported on this car.
An aftermarket hood (with hood pins) and floor shifter was installed.
(note that this vehicle was a column shift model originally, in which it’s still there)

This car has been LS swapped, and is a bit of a fixer upper, but overall didn’t seem too bad.

Other than the weird side fender vents, we think this Buick Regal Limited doesn’t look all that bad (but then again, we generally like unusual).

The seller stated in the sales ad:

I’ve only had this car for a couple of weeks, but im having a change of heart now. Not my style. This is a totally running and driving easy project.
Needs small stuff like wiring cleaned up, new throttle cable, audio, front bumper lights wired, and either a battery or starter (you get a click the for couple of tries, then it’ll crank easy).
5.3 LS that was rebuilt 3 years ago. Less than 5000 miles
No rust/rot, Runs and shifts very smoothly, Race suspension, More stuff that I’m forgetting. An excellent candidate for a nice old school hot rod!
58k on body, 1984 Buick regal LS Swapped, $7,500. Illinois car.
