Turbo Regals came out in droves for the Saturday, June 26, 2022, Downriver Cruise!
We stopped counting at 23 (that’s actually a lot for any one single event, other than the Woodward Wednesday gathering).
It’s great to see so many varied Buick Regals out cruising around.
We know a lot of the local TR guys (well, we recognize their Gbody cars at any rate), and noticed that there’s a bunch of new owners &/or Turbo Buicks in the metro Detroit area this year.
This event never fails to disappoint us!
Thousands of vehicles stroll down Fort Street in Southgate, Michigan.
The craziness (burnouts, etc.) happens (mostly) after 10 PM (if you’re into that kinda stuff), and we left shortly thereafter, as it’s been a long hot day.
The Center Line, MI, Lions Car Show, at ABC Warehouse, 10 Mile (at Van Dyke), is happening today (on Sunday), and that’s where we are at now. Hope to see a bunch of cool cars there, but thats yet to be determined, as the forecast says it might rain.
(so if you don’t see a post on this website on Monday, you know it was rained out!)
There was 1 GN today named “Carbon Fever” that had all of the window trim covered in carbon fiber wrap, as well as a bunch of interior parts, and the rear spoiler too! Pretty cool looking! See it within the 106 (!!) pics below.
