The last Wednesday in August is traditionally when the annual Harper Avenue Cruise takes place in St. Clair Shores, MI.
Even though this cruise is (distance wise) one of the smaller ones, the turnout is always excellent!
Numerous automobiles of all types are cruising around and parked in just about every lot from 9-11 Mile Road.
(it officially runs from 8 Mile to Martin, 5 pm to 9 pm, but the majority of the crowd is between 9 & 10 Mile)
Lots of G-bodies, A-bodies, and older Buicks travelled down the Avenue, along with the thousands of other vehicles.
You know when this show comes around, that the car season is getting closer to being over for the year.
There’s a few more big cruises left, but not many.
If you’re not ready for it to end yet, there’s plenty of smaller weekly cruise-ins to attend.
