This story goes back to when the GNs first hit the streets.
A good friend of mine was a full-on Ford guy.
He’d been working at the Ford Claycomo plant in Kansas City for 30+ years and was quite the street racer.
He was usually untouchable.
.
He was on his way one evening to visit some fellow racers at one of the local shops.
Not knowing what a Buick Grand National was, he picked a fight with one at a stoplight and got his a** handed to him.
When he got to the shop he told his buddies the story of the black Monte Carlo that is wicked fast and crushed him earlier.
His buddies started laughing as they told him, “Jerry, you just got blown away by a V6 Buick!”
.
Thanks to Bob W. for sharing this story with us!
Here’s a photo below of his current vehicle, a 1987 Buick Grand National.
(with 28k miles, which is loaded including the factory Astro Roof, digital dash, and even the factory trunk dress up package. Original paint and bumper fillers with slight modifications.)
