New for 2026 are these “Special Edition” and “SE” black or white colored 1987 Buick Grand National diecast cars, made by Maisto.
There’s actually 2 different versions (2 package designs) that recently came out.
The first version, says “Special Edition” on the front (with either a black or white colored car inside).
The second version, says “SE” and “Special Edition Diecast Collection” underneath it on the front (a black only colored car for now, unless they make the white one as well, but we haven’t seen one yet).
Both versions (for both the black car and white car) appear to be all the same vehicles, just with a different style window box packaging for each.
The hood, doors & trunk open on these 1:18 scale diecasts and have real rubber tires (BF Goodrich Radial T/A) mounted on chrome rims.
Plus adjustable front wheels and a working steering setup.
