May 28, 2022, the Neighborhood Superstars held their annual Memorial Day Showdown 3 car show in the old Star Theatre parking lot in Southfield, Michigan.
We arrived as spectators around 3PM and spent a bit over an hour walking around looking at the various vehicles that were in attendance.
The weather was getting warmer, and we decided it was time to head out, when all of sudden a flood of G-bodies starting making their way in!
So we stayed… for another 2 hours!
LOTS of Montes, Cutlasses, Malibus, and half a dozen Regals showed off their stuff.
Now mind you, this style of car show isn’t for everyone.
If you prefer pure, all original type autos, you probably should skip this one.
However, if you enjoy BIG rims, wild custom paint jobs, and other non-stock options, you’d have a blast here.
Several hundred automobiles participated.
(outside of the Detroit Autorama) This is the first car show of the year we have attended, and if this is any indication of what’s to come for 2022, it’s going to be a very good year to go to events!!
