We’ve been attending the annual Harper Avenue Cruise in Saint Clair Shores, MI, for over a decade, and never have we seen it this packed with sooo many different vehicles!
Not that we are complaining at all though, good times. This has to be an all-time record for this specific event. Great weather (not too hot) most likely contributed in making for a fantastic day. This gala always has a nice turnout, but this year, just wow.
On Wednesdy, August 31, 2022, the local cruisers turned Harper Avenue (mainly Northbound) into basically a parking lot from 9-12 Mile Road between 6&8 PM!
Even after 8PM until they shut it down at 9PM, traffic remained bumper to bumper.
We counted at least 15 Buick Grand Nationals making their way down the thoroughfare.
A few dozen assorted G-bodied cars, numerous older Buicks, a bunch of GM A-bodies, and countless other cool automobiles made this yearly traditional a true pleasure to attend!
