The salespeople at the Buick dealerships used these handy pocket guides to reference the prices for the Gbody Regal and the options available,as well as exterior & interior colors and features.
These pocket folders are generally more rarer than the larger Buick Dealer albums that each car dealer was given (even though there were probably more of these made than the marketing manuals, since there is always a few salesman at the dealership).
We would imagine that there would be heavy use of these pocket guides on a daily basis, as they covered all of the Buick car models offered for the year.
If they weren’t mostly destroyed from the usage, the salespeople most likely pitched them out after the current sales year since they were no longer needed.
(and that’s what makes seeing these rare)
We recently saw this original 1984 Buick Information dealer sales sleeve containing a price directory, an exterior colors pamphlet and an interior/exterior features foldout pamphlet.
(it was priced at $47 on ebay, if you’re curious)
[ and a just FYI, the colors used on this item match the same theme as the full size dealer album, in this case brown leather ]
