We showed a Buick Grand National Go Kart on this site before, but that one didn’t look real accurate when compared to the full sized version (but was still neat).
This one, made by Action Industries, resembles the styling of what we know as a Turbo Regal GN.
Featuring a fiberglass body in black over a black tubular steel frame, and the kart is powered by a Briggs & Stratton engine linked with a centrifugal clutch and drive chain.
Containing a rear-mounted drum brake, a pull-starter, a gray plastic seat, an engine cut-off switch, and a three-spoke steering wheel.
The exterior decals mirror the real Buick Grand National emblems.
Front and rear lighting, grille, 3.8 SFI Turbo emblems on the hood, and fender emblems.
As for wheels, they are 6 inch powder coated chrome and have black center hubs with Grand National logos.
4.10/3.50 Cheng Shin bias-ply tires put the engines 3.5 horsepower into motion.
This fun toy is currently in Georgia and listed on Bring a Trailer, the auction ends on 11-15-24.
$3,000 is the current bid for those interested.
Would look excellent in your Turbo Buick garage sitting next to your 1:1 scale version!
