Cruisin Hines Drive Park Cruise 8-24-25

Bad Ass Extension Cords

.

What makes this specific cruise so special is that only vehicles 25 years or older are allowed in (no other MI event does this that we know about).
That makes it wonderful not having to deal with any daily drivers or whatnot that shouldn’t be there.

There’s a $5 donation for entrance to cruise down the 7-8 mile stretch, and you can park pretty much anywhere you like (that isn’t a car clubs spot or a select few other areas, at any rate).
You can cruise a while, then stop somewhere, then head out again and park at a different place, repeat if necessary.

The benefit of this car cruise is that you’ll see tons and tons of cool rides of all types, all day long!
And for us, there’s more than a plentiful amount of Buick Grand Nationals and other GM G-body cars to drool over.

We spotted at least a couple dozen Turbo Regals (which were of course, mostly black).

The weather was just about perfect, not too hot like we’ve been dealing with for the last month.
And that meant there were waaay more cars participating this year (compared to last years scorching temps).

.

JL, still miss ya bud.
