Turbo Buicks, G-bodies, older Buicks, A-bodies, in that order.
That’s where our concentration falls when we attend car cruises & car shows (for ourselves, as well as for this website).
Then any other cool automobile that we happen to run across.
It doesn’t happen too often that we can publish a post that ONLY has our top 4 categories of vehicles in it (hence us having to put whatever is neat at the specific venue we are at in the car show posts we make).
This was one of those special events.
There’s sooo many muscle cars, hot rods, and classics at this gathering, we’re able to fill our quota of our personal favorites.
This annual event is always a good time.
(although generally, it’s very warm outside, sometimes scorching, even though it did rain much earlier in the day)
Saturday’s Downriver Cruise, also known as the Fort Street Cruise, was held on June 24, 2023, in Southgate MI.
Thousands of participants flocked down the road in classic cars of all types (and lots of new hot rods too).
We saw a bunch of Turbo Regals and plenty of Gbody cars (our normal requirement [wishful thinkings] when attending car shows).
.
Note, we were planning on going to the Blue Water Cruise Night in Fort Gratiot, on Friday, (which was suppose to be our 3rd of 5 car shows in a row), but as the weather was overcast and raining in the lower parts of the state, we aborted our plans since it’s kind of a hike up there from where we’re at. No sense in taking a chance on a low turnout because of the weather.
