Held on Saturday June 5, 2021, this 2nd annual “Cruisin’ 53 Car Show and Parade” ran thru Centerline & Warren, Michigan.
8 Mile to 14 Mile Road was where the cruise (officially) occurred with the HQ at City Center Plaza (10 Mile Rd).
Actual places people/automobiles were at was mainly concentrated between 10 & 11 Mile Road, with a few scattered above and below that area.
The weather was hot, the hot rods were, well, hotter!
At least in a lot of the parking lots, that is.
There wasn’t a whole lot of “cruising” going on.
This years show was promoted a bit more than the original first event that was held in 2019, so participation was better this time around, not much better, but better.
(the 2020 event was cancelled due to the pandemic)
(see the 2019 M53 car cruise here)
The downtown Mount Clemens Cruise was also going on today, along with a bunch of other stuff, and it being a beautiful day people were out and about taking care of other things. Apparently just not “car things” so bummer for us auto aficionados.
