So the annual meetup for Michigan Buick folk was held yesterday.
NOT at the usual Moose Preserve, but across the street in the Staples parking lot (NOT in front of the Kirby’s Coney Island as was previously stated) which was a good thing, as there was much more room here.
Over the course of the night, about 30-some turbo buicks made their appearance. (which was actually more than anticipated considering the venue change & the non-suredness of this entire event)
One lone 1987 Buick GNX showed up to the meet spot. That’d be car # 043.
(although there were a couple X-looking clones that made their presence)
Friends reunited, stimulating conversations were had, visual eye candy lined up the front row facing woodward avenue.
If ya missed it, mark it down on your calendars for next year! I’m sure the turbo buick crowd will gather around somewhere else, if not in this same spot…
