New for 2026 (already !?) is another Turbo Buick from the Hot Wheels Mainline set.
The packaging states: “Night Speed” & “’87 Buick Regal GNX.”
The cars design is purple paint with white & pink striped graphics on the side, along with the number 87. It has 5-spoke black wheels with either a white or silver outer ring on the outside.
The cars shown herein are all Regular Treasure Hunt (RTH) pieces (you can see the TH symbol under the car in one of the photos), and are from the “Case A” box (as shipped from Mattel).
[ It’s strange that the “Treasure Hunt” type cars use to be hard to find, and yet, for this particular diecast vehicle, ALL of the cars we saw for sale were ALL of the TH variety! ]
We’ve seen a few sellers (all from Malaysia) who are offering these up, for around $20 shipped.
There’s 2 different card backing versions available, a regular long card, and a short card.
Both have 9/250 numbering on the upper right corner, and are of batch 1/10 (the number on the right side about half way down the card).
If these are from the 2026 series of 1:64 scale diecasts that Hot Wheels is putting out, we probably aren’t going to be seeing them in local stores anytime soon!
