For the ultimate birthday cake, give that Turbo Buick lover in your life a Buick Grand National Cake!
An awesome looking cake in the shape of the Buick Regal Grand National would be oh so turbo-rific! (see pics 1-4 below!)
Of course, not everyone has the talent to create something like that, or even know anyone who might, but you could always make a simple turbo 6 cake (via freehand writing with icing gel, etc.) & that will probably suffice just as well! (see pics 5&6).
If you do happen to have some artistic ability, using that same icing (that comes in the tube for writing names, etc., on cakes), you may consider actually trying to draw a G body Regal on top of the cake, like they did in picture #7 below.
Another route available, is you can go to your local bakery shop & they can obtain (or make) an edible photo cake-topper (see pics 8&9). They’re really not that expensive, and it uses a photo that you bring in which they transfer onto a sheet of this edible stuff that you simply place on top of your own cake! Of course, while you’re at it, you could always have them just make the cake too!
The last photo shows the 60th Birthday party at Dennis Kirbans. His Birthday cake had a silhouette image of a Buick Grand National on it. (on the right, you can also see the way-cool [half of a] go-cart size wall decoration he received as a gift!) {this was from his 2007 reunion gathering}.
