So you’re sitting on a bunch of these Jada Toys Turbo Regals that you picked up around 2003 from your local toy store.
And now you’re wondering exactly how much they’re worth.
The absolute best way to tell, is to see what they are selling for on ebay.
THIS is real world, true values.
The (actual) selling prices on here (for items that actually sold) are reality, NOT dreamed up prices, NOT what items should be worth, but honest to goodness “what stuff is really worth.”
[since what something is worth is what someone is willing to pay… and in this case, someone actually did…]
Those people who thought they were going to get rich off of these “Oldskool Dubs” will be in for a disappointment as of late.
A few years after there release, some of them (green, orange) were selling for a premium ($60-70), since they were hard to get (available in Canada only).
Today, they are basically worth around the twenty bucks you paid for them initially.
Of course, if diecast models are what you’re into because you are a collector (or just love the Buick Grand Nationals & their brethren), and you’re not really interested in selling them, then it shouldn’t matter what the current values are at all.
[but I get it, we all still like to know that stuff we bought is worth a lot, or at least more than what we paid for them, even if we don’t want to sell them right now]
Here’s the current selling prices (in September 2015) for some of these 1:24 scale diecast Dub City Buick Grand Nationals.
All of the prices shown below were PLUS $10 for shipping (each).
