With the smokey atmosphere here as of late, and threats of rain headed this way, we didn’t expect much from any of the 3 car shows we’re attending today.
[ that’s exactly why we decided to hit up 3 different venues, to make this day worthwhile overall for classic car viewing ]
The annual Jammin at The Junction event, held on a new day, comes along with a new crew running this auto gathering.
We had hoped this new date would bring out more vehicles to this event (since the last few years has been declining in participants), as the previous date in September collided with a few of the other big events happening that day (mainly the Chesterfield Gratiot Cruise).
We spotted a few GM G-body’s today as well as some A-body vehicles, but that’s about it. Maybe 70-ish cars in attendance (about the same as last year).
