Promotional Buick Dealer Plates

During the sales years at the Buick dealerships, in the showrooms and in the parking lots, the new Buick Regals (Grand Nationals, T-Types, & Limiteds) would have promotional Buick dealer plates affixed within the bracket on the front bumpers (for those cars equipped with that option).

That made for good extra exposure for these assorted dealers.
Sometimes the new buyer would leave those license plates on the car.
Sometimes not, being replaced by something cooler, something that had a specific custom Grand National theme on them (or whatever type Regal it was on).

These Buick dealership plates often ended up on the walls inside the customers garage, which made a nice addition to whatever other decor was going on in the garage.

Of course, sometimes those dealer license tags ended up in a drawer somewhere.

Most of these plates provide heritage for the GM G-body, and some have pretty cool designs and themes on them, so it’s a shame that they’re not displayed on either cars or walls.
(meaning you should display them if you have them)

Check out these promotional Buick dealer license plates that could be hanging in your garage (ebay is the place to get them).
