Romeo Peach Festival Car Cruise Parade 9-6-26

We’ve been to the Romeo Lions Peach Festival Car Show (at Bluewater Trucking) on this same day before, and even the Unofficial Romeo Peach Festival Cruise In (at Tractor Supply Co in Washington, the Thursday beforehand), but we haven’t experienced this actual Peach Festival Car Parade previously.

The parade is held on Main Street in Romeo, with staging at TSC (66143 Van Dyke, Washington), where this past Thursdays event (the Unofficial Cruise In) was suppose to take place (if it hadn’t rained that day).

So, this event sort of makes up for us missing out on Thursdays gathering (it’s even at that same place).

The parade we had heard, has hundreds of assorted vehicles participating, which should be interesting to view.

And indeed it did, there were at least 200 cars we watched leave from the TSC lot.

Instead of sitting somewhere on Main Street and watching the parade cars drive by (and to also avoid the public crowd that no doubt gathered alongside to spectate), we figured we’d just examine them at the staging area before they all head out!
You know, up close and personal.
Which was the perfect spot to be (we parked in the Culvers lot as they left).

We saw 1 Buick Grand National, a Monte SS, and several Olds Cutlasses.
There were some unusual rides here as well.

A pretty neat car parade, we’ll probably come back next year.
