Slow Power Windows? DIY Hotwire Upgrade!

A friend who is a fellow Turbo Buick owner looked into speeding up the power windows in his 1986 Buick Grand National.
This is surely something that most Buick Regal owners can relate to.

Other than completely replacing the window motors, there are no aftermarket solutions available to cure this common GM vehicle problem.

He did some research into this matter & came up with the following solution (which he found online by someone else who decided they were going to figure out a viable alternative).

By adding in 4 relays; 2 for each window: 1 for going up & 1 for going down, this in effect has the same methodology of adding in a hotwire kit.

This technique seems like it presents one option for G-body owners to utilize in solving the issue.

The diagram shown below displays how to hook up the relays to the existing parts.
