There’s 5 other car shows happening today (6-1-24), besides this annual Cruisin’ The Clem event being held in Mount Clemens, so we were curious as to how many vehicles would actually show up.
Good thing only 2 of the others were local to this meeting spot (2 were on the West side of the State, and the other way further North).
[and they both ended at 3PM, so no doubt some show goers ventured over this way]
The “show portion” for today was officially 10am – 3pm, with cruising around the downtown area afterwards (until 9pm).
We arrived at 3:30 and were delighted to see that pretty much no one from the car show had really left from the parking spaces they were in.
There were some automobiles cruising around, but the majority were still lined up down Main Street.
[last year, with the Van Dyke cruise happening on the same day, not to mention other things going on as well, a bunch of the crowd here left between 4-5pm. This year it seemed everyone stayed here!]
This yearly Michigan gathering generally brings out a ton of assorted muscle cars, vintage autos and classics of all kinds.
The 32nd Annual Mount Clemens Cruise today indeed had a nice turnout!
Several GM G-bodies to keep us content, as well as some GM A-bodies.
Those always make it a worthwhile trip for our attendance.
