While most Buick Grand National owners have put away their prized G-body Regals for the winter, there are a few who are out there driving in the snow!
Often, it’s just because you need to move cars around, from the garage to the outside for a brief period, for example.
Some have too many cars and not enough space in the garage to store them all, so they park them outside for the winter months. Not actually driving them, but still exposed to all of the elements.
Then sometimes, it’s out of pure need. Your daily driver is down and you must get to work or head to the store for supplies.
Other times may be because owners want to see how the Turbo Buick will handle in the snow, or simply for fun times.
Locally here, we know of 2 people that drive them in the snow, and rain, and always, because their Turbo Regals ARE their daily drivers! Yes, they are (mainly) “just cars” to them. They know they are cool cars, but none the less, just a transportational unit.
(and yes, the vehicles are pretty beaten up because of the year round use of them)
Right or wrong, sometimes people do what they do.
Here’s a few people driving their Buick Grand Nationals in the snow.
