This event at GNE Paint (Hazel Park, MI) has been around for the last few years, and one we’ve been meaning to attend (but something always comes up).
This year, we made it.
Unfortunately, it fell on the same day as the Frankenmuth Autofest, so many hotrodders are attending that one today.
[ and just FYI, the other few scattered car shows today had low turnouts as well, for the same reason. Yesterdays automobile gatherings suffered the same fate. ]
The local Twisted Axle Car Club generally participates heavily here, but again, lots of those folks are further up North.
When we arrived, there were about 30 various muscle & classic vehicles in the lot (and in front & back of it).
A nice selection of rides, albeit not a lot, but that was pretty much already anticipated.
Brandon, the coordinator for this event, said there were more cars in attendance earlier in the day, before we got there.
Our GN was the only G-body, but there were a couple GM A-body autos present amongst the midst of various vehicles.
