Put on by the SouthEast Michigan HotRodders Gang, this weekly event brings in anywhere from 50-100 cars on average.
This Saturday, July 6, 2024, show that we went to, is at a place we’ve been to before in the past.

Mainly we go here to see the vehicles from the West side, since there’s not a lot of East side events that attract hot rods from this particular area.
And the vice versa is true as well, locals usually attend gatherings near them.
Meaning if you want to see some different autos, you have to go to where they are, they’re not coming to you.
Such as it is, we don’t mind travelling to events.
Most car meet ups are generally no more than 45 minutes away from our home base, so it’s not too much of an effort to go check them out.
This one is just 25 minutes via a hop on the freeway.
Just 1 GM G-bodied ride today (an El Camino) out of the 80 or so classic cars here, and some GM A-body vehicles.
However, as we were leaving, a 1987 Buick Grand National was pulling in (just our luck).

This was the first car show we went to today. Since there’s another one going on at the Big Boy in Livonia (which is only 20 minutes from here), we decided to venture out to that one as well. See the photos on this site tomorrow!

It is also fun driving over to this spot, since we see the big Uniroyal tire on I-94, accompanied by the “football” bridge at telegraph.
